When we refer to "CAR SHOE", "us", "we" or "our" in this Policy, we mean Prada S.p.A., with its registered office in Milan (Italy), the operating holding company of the PRADA Group and its subsidiary Prada Retail UK Ltd., which operates the sale of products offered on this Website and in the stores located in Switzerland.

We are committed to protecting children’s privacy. Our Website and our services are intended for use by those of the age of majority or older in the province or territory in which they reside and is not geared towards children. In order to protect the privacy of children, CAR SHOE does not knowingly collect Personal Data from children under the age of 16 without prior parental consent.

We therefore ask you not to provide us with Personal Data of persons who do not meet this requirement.

We will use your Personal Data in connection with the purposes for which you have provided it. This may include: 

(a)  to provide you with the products, services and information you request from us, communicate with you and manage your relationship with CAR SHOE;
(b)  to process or fulfil your purchase orders and perform all management activities connected with them (including administrative management of the contract, delivery of goods, payment processing, invoicing, management of any products exchanges and returns, handling of any claims and litigation, and fraud prevention), and to comply with any applicable legal or regulatory obligations.

(i) to contact you and/or send you (by telephone, e-mail and any other form of electronic communication or digital means including social network platforms and other instant messaging applications) commercial communications, newsletters, direct marketing material, advertising and catalogues concerning “CAR SHOE” and the other brands, products and services of the PRADA Group.

• We may disclose your information to departments of other PRADA Group companies that are in charge of customer relationship, retail, communication, legal affairs, finance, internal audit, IT management and security for the purposes set out in this privacy Policy and to provide you with a consistent level of service across all PRADA Group companies. This may include providing you with the products and services that you have requested, improving the service provided, performing research and analysis and sending advertising or promotional communications.
• Please also note that where you have chosen to register a personal account with us your Personal Data will be securely shared with all PRADA Group stores to provide you with the same quality of service wherever you choose to interact with us around the world (i.e. when you travel and purchase our products or visit our stores). We will take appropriate security and confidentiality measures as required by applicable legislation to ensure an adequate standard of data protection.

To the extent necessary for detecting and preventing fraudulent online transactions, we share certain information with our service provider Riskified Ltd. (Israel). • Finally, we may share or transfer your information and any consent you may have provided to use your information, in connection with a sale, merger, transfer or other reorganization of all or parts of our business.

As CAR SHOE is part of an international network your Personal Data may be transferred abroad, even temporarily, in accordance with applicable laws, including to locations outside the European Union, by adopting appropriate security measures and safeguards, including the Standards Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission, to ensure an adequate level of protection of the transferred data.

Your Personal Data will be processed and stored for: (a) as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which the information was collected; (b) in accordance with the retention periods required by applicable laws; or (c) until you revoke your consent to the processing of your Personal Data.

In particular, where you have chosen to register a personal account with us, your Personal Data will be kept for a period of 7 years from the last purchase or interaction you initiated with us or otherwise until you withdraw from or delete your account.

After the conclusion of such period(s), and where there is no legal or business purpose for retaining your Personal Data, it will be permanently deleted, or made anonymous.

Please note that you may exercise the rights under the applicable data protection laws, including the UK GDPR and the UK Data Protection Act 2018 (“DPA”) and the (EU) Regulation 2016/679 (the “GDPR”), such as the right to request information as to whether your Personal Data is being processed and as to the characteristics of the processing, the right to rectification and erasure of your Personal Data, to limitation of the data processing and/or the right to object to the processing and/or request the transmission of your Personal Data to another controller.

Where the processing of your Personal data is based on your consent, you also have the right to withdraw your consent at any time and free of charge. The withdrawal of your consent will not affect the lawfulness of the processing based on your consent before its withdrawal.

In addition, if you believe that the processing of your Personal Data is in breach of the applicable data protection law, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent data protection authority or to take legal action.
